http://www.shogunsportfishing.comToday the rocks cooperated a bit more. With consistent current the yellows bit, and the size continues to average 30#. Several fish were lost to the bottom structure. Fishing close to the bottom, it only takes a short run and that 50# mono is caught up in the sharp rocks. The yellowfin also bit well early. Troll stops followed by a half dozen bait and jig fish put the tuna on the boat. This has to be one of the best trips for calm seas. We left Point Loma in bumpy south wind conditions and haven't seen wind above 10 kts since. Tomorrow the Shogun will be fishing near Cedros, and possibly offshore Saturday. Check the boat schedule as there are spaces available this summer and fall.
