Lake Mohave
While our striper fishing hasn’t quite taken off in full force I am hearing of some action up on Lake Mohave in various area as anglers are watching the birds for the striper boils due to them feeding on the gizzard shad.
Colorado River - Davis Dam
their has been some action below the Davis Dam near the casinos. for the most part it looks like the larger ones are coming in and stacking claim while waiting for the smaller fish to arrive.
Colorado River - Laughlin
In the meantime we mostly have a great trout bite going on. Our local anglers Evan (8 years old and his brother Russell (7 years old with the glasses) Mynk are showing off their catch of rainbow trout from community park. they were fishing from shore using night crawlers. Both Davis Camp and community park are your go to spots with night crawlers power bait and of course the Berkley mice tails. I like a panther martin in the yellow with red spots. than being said there are a lot of great spinners to choose from so try your favorite. We are getting some great trout from the willow beach hatchery. I have heard that there is some to be had near rotary park and the sunshine peninsula. and speaking of which We have another local angler Riah Braun that was fishing in that area and landed a Large mouth bass she was using a rooster tail. Yep its my granddaughter and we are helping her practice catch and release in this species of fish. but all stripers go to the frying pan Hope this helps for now and we want to see you in soon thanks for all of your support Now Go Catch A fish
