Catching the Spotlight

The trout bite is still going strong. Carl caught this tagged trout out of lake 3 on Powerbait and landed a sweet new setup. There are still plenty of tagged trout to be caught so come try your luck and you could walk away with a prize! Our next scheduled stock will be on Wednesday, February 7th. Don’t forget if you catch a trout five pounds or larger, be sure to bring it to the General Store to be entered for a chance to win a two night stay in the cabin. The drawing will be held April 1st, 2018.

The trout bite continues to be great. Most of the trout are being caught on Powerbait. The bass bite is warming up a bit and they are hitting on shad imitation baits, such as Flukes in the early morning or late evening. Reports of catfish and bluegill have been few and far in between but this may be due to the anglers not targeting them.
