North Fork Nehalem Fishing Report

OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff

Report Date:

http://www.dfw.state.or.us

The North Fork is getting a little on the low side, and the hatchery run is mostly done. A little rain predicted for Thursday should improve conditions and move some fish, but be prepared to catch and release, as it will be mostly wild fish throughout the system at this point. Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
