The Topaz Lodge Derby will continue until April 15th. The results for week 9 was something that has not happened in the derby That I can recall. David Peterson from Carson City NV took first place with a tagged 5.11 lb   23 inch trout, David also took second place with a 3.15 lb 21 inch trout.. Week 10 first place was Ryan Terry with a 4.9 lb 22" trout. Second place was Shane Trudale with a 3.15 lb 21 inch rainbow trout. As of last week 235 fish have been weighed in over two pounds. Also a note as for the tagged fish. There has been a few private derbies that have placed tagged fish in the lake over the last couple years. The Topaz Lodge will only recognize tagged fish that they have planted. They are very distinct, as they will have either topaz lodge or TLC and  a number imprinted on the tag.  I caught a tagged fish last week that was red in color with no markings on it. This was how I was informed of this. Which was disappointing, but understandable. The Topaz Lodge can not be responsible of some one else's tagged fish. Good luck on your next fishing adventure.
