Bass Fishing was very good last week, despite the cooler temps we experianced. Most of the fish are up in 2ft to 10ft of water and have been biting a variety of baits. Senkos, Flukes, Ika's, and rip baits, drop shots, jigs, etc, etc all produced. Most fish have been males in 1lb to 3lb range. The lakes Bluegill population has yet to show, but should once the water hits 67 degrees or more. There was a handfull of Crappies checked in at the marina. Most notably was Anthony Noy of La Mesa. Noy had 3 slabs between 2 and 3lbs this past Sunday morning, which all fell for a 1/32oz white jig, tipped with a nibble. Catfish werer MIA last week.
