This past week 1200 pounds of Mt. Lassen trout were planted at the north Shore launch ramp. The bank fishermen are having the best action using trout dough bait, nightcrawlers or Kastmasters.The water clarity is relatively clear despite the recent rains. The lake is at 72% of capacity.

Lake Amador Resort continues to release about 1500 pounds of Mt. Lassen rainbow trout per week. The trout are moving into the shallows and the shorelines in 2 foot depths. The best baits are PowerBaits, Power Dough baits, and Mice Tails have been really effective.Trollers are finding less action than the shoreline anglers. The lake now is 18 feet from the spillway. ......
