Fish Lake has been stocked with larger-size rainbow trout, tiger trout, and Chinook salmon. Brook trout also are available. The lake is mostly covered with ice; however, the ice is melting and is not stable. The lake is currently 76 percent full. Anglers should be aware that a snow park permit is needed to use the USFS lot at the boat ramp through April 30. The resort is currently open Fridays through Sundays.
