They have been hooking these bluefin on flatfall jigs and they are reporting seeing a good sign of the bluefin offshore! They have also lost 6 bluefin due to light tackle!
The San Diego is a go for sure on on Friday 4/27 targeting bluefin tuna and yellowtail offshore. She departs at 5:30am and no passports required! The Captains recommended tackle for these offshore trips are flat fall jigs and a heavy setup 60# or 80# for the bigger bluefin!

UPDATE 1:30pm - Captain Cameron and the San Diego now have 75 yellowtail on the boat and will spend the rest of the day looking for tuna. Mondays trip aboard the San Diego is a GO FOR SURE! No passports required! 11:20am - The San Diego has 35 yellowtail and 3 bonito on their offshore Full Day trip. They will be running offshore again tomorrow.......
