They have been hooking these bluefin on flatfall jigs and they are reporting seeing a good sign of the bluefin offshore!
The San Diego is a go for sure on on Friday 4/27 targeting bluefin tuna and yellowtail offshore. She departs at 5:30am and no passports required! The Captains recommended tackle for these offshore trips are flat fall jigs and a heavy setup 60# or 80# for the bigger bluefin!

The SAN DIEGO'S Friday offshore full day trip is a go. Thurday's trip finished with 12 Bluefin tuna and 3 yellowtail. The Bluefin were up to 75 pounds and bit the Flatfall jigs, flylined sardines and sinkered sardines. 30-40# live bait outfits and 60-80# jig outfits are recommended.Departing Friday evening we have the TRIBUTE's overnight trip and the TOMAHAWK's one and one-half day trip.Half-day trips depart at 6:00am and 12:30pm.......
