The flows on the East are at 232 cfs right now and have been holding steady for 3 or 4 days so far. The fishing during the week was very good but it seemed to slow a bit yesterday, I think that may be due mainly to the numbers of anglers that have been fishing the river. It was very busy down there on Friday and Saturday so this may have put the fish off a bit. The successful anglers we’ve spoken with have been doing well with streamers stil and of course nymphs. With the warmer weather we’ve been having hitting the water early is a plus as the fish and bugs are getting active earlier than when it’s cold. When possible try to distance yourself from the crowds so you can get into some water that might not have been hit so hard, the water conditions have been great for a while so the fish are very spread out, if you see some water that looks fishy, there’s certain to be fish there.
