http://www.countyofsb.org/parks/cachuma.sbcWelcome fishermen to Beautiful Cachuma Lake. Here is this week's Fishing Report!
Trout were deeper due to the rising water temp. but have come back up a little this week. They are even starting to catch off shore again!
Crappie are still coming up on shore and along the bays and mountain ridges, especially in the reeds.
Bass are starting to spawn and are still catching all over the lake near the reeds and in fairly shallow water.
Catfish are starting to come up again, mostly near the dam. Mackerel has been a popular choice
for the catfish here and we are seeing 3 and 4 pounders being caught.
We are just over 40% of capacity here at the lake with about 130 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam The wind has been lighter this past week which is making our fishermen very happy!
Visit our marina and talk with our friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sam, Jake, Chris and Caleb are always on hand to give you the latest fishing information! We look forward to seeing you!!
