https://www.intrepid.netHi Everyone,
More good things taking place on the boat over the last week. We replaced our shaft tubes with new, unforeseen work, which was a huge task taking into account that the shaft tubes are intricate to the alignment of the propellor shafts meeting up to the transmission. As you can see in the pictures, our fabricating crew built a jig to ensure that they are welded in the exact place and at the exact angle. Our paint work is almost finished, and engines will go in soon. All of this project has been involved, there has been unforeseen delays along the way, but everything is getting done right and the boat will be greatly improved when this is over. Our local USCG office at Sector San Diego is impressed with the work getting done which is always good feedback. This next week will be interesting. Thank you for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
