Bass fishing was good last week, with most anglers reporting 10 to 20 fish a day.  The largemouth are scattered 5 feet to 25 feet and have been biting drop shot, fly-lined plastics, as well as rip baits, small swimbait, and glide baits.  The average size bass was close to 3 lbs, with big fish for the week going to Jake Evans of Lakeside, who landed a 7.5 lbs on a senko.  Bluegill still biting well here, although the average size has dropped to around 3/4/ lbs.  Nightcrawlers were the preferred bait, and the back of Barona Arm, the Chimney, and the Toll Road Arm have been the best locations for the panfish.
