We had the Island Spirit out on a 5AM trip today, going for game fish all day. We started out the day fishing white seabass with hook up baits. We lost 3. We continued to work and found some barracuda biting the surface jigs. We caught our yellowtail at Santa Cruz and Anacapa with live squid and yo yo jigs We even got a 20 lb halibut! 28 Anglers,  4 Ocean Whitefish, 1 California Halibut, 8 Calico Bass, 7 California Sheephead, 9 Yellowtail, 36 Rockfish, 26 Barracuda.The weather is nice right now and it's the perfect time to get on board a boat and enjoy a day of fishing fun!
