Hello Everyone;

We arrived to Alijos Rocks at 07:30 hours, but before we even arrived to the rocks, we had our first Wahoo on the boat. About 15 miles from the rocks, this Wahoo would find his way to one of our passengers Marauder. This was a very good sign that there might be some Wahoo at Alijos.

Once we arrived, it didn’t take long for us to get busy. It was not a wind open bite, but it was steady. This was different to our newcomers, and they had that look like a deer looking at head lights.

After the first few stop, they got the hang of things. Most of the Wahoo were in the 30 to 50 pound range. Some anglers were lucky to get a few Wahoo today.

Wahoo was not the only thing on the menu. We caught Yellowtail, Sheephead, Rainbow Runners, Calico Bass, and a handful of Flag Cabrilla.

Our weather was perfect, with less than 8 knots of wind, sunny, and warm.

We departed Alijos at 20:00 hours, and we are headed north. Tomorrow will be a travel day, so until then wish us luck.

The best bite was on the surface iron, but we did get fish on the flyline, dropper loop, Yo-Yo,......
