First we did get a trout plant these are very small and not catchable size but they are for the infestation of bugs we are having along the river. the caddis fly is our biggest problem as of yet. we will be getting more rainbow trout of catchable size both to help with the caddis fly and for sport. so for now you striper anglers get on out there as we have a bite going on. We both need and they are coming in to catch some of stripped bass this is a great time to land that trophy fish. I kind of of lean on any fish over 10-12 pounds is a great catch or a trophy catch. Our local anglers and characters Tom Gallant and his fishing buddy Steven Baird are showing off their catch anchovies were working well while fishing off of Toms boat in the lower big bend area. I have been hearing that the casino area was also producing a few. Down River the Colorado River we have another local angler and his son Hunter 1 yrs. old that landed a 18.22 pound striper using his favorite lure to bring in his 39.14 inches. and yep that's me holding the fish and getting Hunter involved. I did get a high five, nice for a 1 year old.
