Yesterday was another great day of fishing for both yellowfin tuna and yellowtail. Again, we had tuna that were up to 40 pounds and yellowtail up to 20 pounds. It was the same as the day before as far as the most productive methods. Flylined sardines on 30# and 40# for the tuna, and dropper loop rigs for the yellowtail. We had windows of opportunity throughout the day when the fish would bite more aggresively and the guys took advantage of those opportunities. Overall a great day of fishing. Chef Daniel kept everyone happy in the culinary department and we enjoyed fresh ahi Poke bowls for lunch and dinner was an incredible mushroom / spinach risotto with roasted chicken.
