The action has tapered off a little on the Virginias though there are some good numbers of native brookies being caught lately with some of them tipping the tape over 12 inches. Bait anglers are having success with crawlers and mice tails. Lure anglers are using Thomas bouyants and kastmasters. Fly anglers are using seal buggers, leech patterns, soft hackles and pheasant tails.
