GENERAL CONDITIONS

If the kiosk is closed, please use the yellow Ventek machine to pay for parking (exact change only, please). For fishing permits, you may use either the Ventek machine or the blue iron ranger posts across from the kiosk, from the entrance from the Isherwood Staging Area, and from the walk-through gates by the Sequoia Bridge and from the Niles gate.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST BE 100 FEET AWAY FROM THE FISH TUBE, THE BOAT DOCK, AND THE BEACH AREA while fishing from the shore and from a boat. Also, note that the use of lead fishing tackle is prohibited at Quarry Lakes. You can exchange lead tackle at the kiosk in a “1 for 1” trade for stainless steel weights.

On October 6th, Anthony E. of Redwood City caught five trout! They weighed approximately two pounds each. He was using pumpkin Powerbait and a Kastmaster and was fishing along Fishermen’s Row.

On October 7th, Lionel S of Union City caught a 12 and a half pound catfish! He was fishing from Peninsula Point, and was using a mouse-tail.

Lionel returned on October 11th and caught another monster catfish! This one weighed 11 and a half pounds! He was fishing in El Cerrito Cove and was using micetails.

On October 12th, Jack A of Hayward caught and released six trout. He was using a rainbow runner and was fishing from his boat in the middle of Horseshoe Lake!

On October 15th Dexter M of Union City caught a two pound trout using an SR-5 Rapala. He was fishing from his kayak in from of Fishermen’s Row.
