The Lake has risen to 50.9% since the last storm.  It was at about 37% before the storm.  The water is still fairly murky but fish are still being caught.  Rainbow Trout are still being caught (mostly off-shore) using worms and trolling.  Large and smallmouth are being caught close to the surface, but most will be caught a little deeper due to colder water.  Crappie and bluegill have slowed down, but should pick back up after the next storm which is coming this week, you can use crappie jigs and atomic teasers.  Catfish can still be caught pretty much anywhere if you have the patience for it (it’s harder for the fish to see the bait when it’s muddy).  Nightcrawler or mackerel work great.  Carp have left the marina for now and are most likely finding shallower areas.  Most people catch them by bow, but nightcrawler work as well.  Come visit our bait and tackle shop for anything you may need.  Check out 805webcam for weather conditions and scenic views.
