After looking at several schools of yellowtail for no cooperation, you couldn't help look up at the big burning moon and start wondering. I'm sure we used a lot of excuses on the list today but it wasn't a complete loss. Although it wasn't the yanking and cranking we all like to do - we still managed to scrape up a few handfuls of yellows. Jeff sakuda was a lucky member in the yellowtail club today as we are continuing down in hopes everyone can join.

After competing with the fish gods yesterday, we found out real fast today that finding is only half the battle, making them bite is another. With another bonus day of good weather, things were looking up when the fish decided to show but unfortunately for us we had to endure stop after stop of none biting 40-80 bluefin. We were able to connect once today allowing us to enjoy a little excitement as shown by Steve Kadota's smiles as he lands......

Starting off the trip with a good weather forecast and reports from the bluefin ground, our timing was looking perfect. Not arriving to the grounds until lunch time, the anticipation was through the roof. A few handfuls of yellowfin strikes got us started but as the sun got lower the old feeling of should have been here yesterday was setting in. We covered a lot of good area today and are making a small move tonight in hopes of greener pastures. The Guys......
