Shifting back into yellowtail mode today was a rugged start to say the least and we were stopping on fish all morning for very slim results. Just when the breeze came up and thought were toast, the conditions changed to our favor and the fish finally wanted to play. For a solid three hours we enjoyed good steady fishing on 16-25lb yellows and they were attacking us from every depth, which was exactly what the doctor ordered. We are moving into our last day tomorrow and are headed up the line in search of some possible exotics.

Denied Sitting on a nice cushion of yellowtail fishing from yesterday, we decided to mix it up and try for some offshore tuna fishing. Unfortunately the word trying was the key word for today, after covering many, many miles of water only to come up with non tag able size tuna.
