We never had wide open fishing but it was steady enough that if you worked at it one could get plenty of bites. Our leader Howard Coolidge and Chuck Christman were hard at it today. We have enjoyed the ride down because the company and the weather has been fantastic. It was encouraging to get scattered jigstrikes on smaller tuna over a 30 mi area as we straightlined down to our ultimate destination. The fish were a welcome break to the day as everyone had the opportunity to tug on a few. Hopefully this area of fish continues to travel up the line as we need biting fish to move further up into our neck......
