Tackle Prepping Getting Ready for Wahoo Fishing

Royal Polaris Crew

Report Date:

http://www.royalpolaris.com

We’ll after two days of traveling and lots of tackle prepping, things are starting to look like fishing.  Weather continues to be excellent, with the sun heating things up for us all.  We did get a 30 pound Yellowfin on the troll yesterday.

The first day of tackle prep was getting everyone ready for Wahoo fishing.  Wiring, crimping, getting everyone ready for Wahoo fishing.  Today was spent getting all kite leaders ready (Flying fish, Large Mackerel, double trouble), all the thing you need to fish the kite and big baits (small tuna, skipjacks, rainbow runners).  Tomorrow we will spend the day on our final prep, before we arrive to our destination the next morning.

We will be out of coverage for the next 12 days, but we will have a day by day report on the 31st of March, with photos.  So wish us luck and we will report as soon as we can.  Team Royal Polaris.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
