Try Fishing Bait Near the Bottom

Empire Lakes were stocked this week with trophy trout, and they are scheduled to receive “pounder” rainbows in early April. These lakes will be stocked several times in spring 2019 with larger trout to minimize bird predation.

Warmwater species are present year-round, but may be lethargic in colder weather. Try fishing bait near the bottom, or very slow presentation of lures.
