Hunters are being given an additional two weeks to apply for the spring turkey hunts advertised in the DFG's California Hunting Digest.
When the publication was printed earlier this month, it was inadvertently sent 3rd Class Mail instead of 1st Class, creating a significant delivery delay. As a result, many hunters received the magazine after the deadlines for the spring turkey hunt drawings had passed.
To correct the problem, the drawing deadline has been extended until March 21.
