The Lake water has hit the launch ramp. Both docks on the water and both pontoons on the Lake – let Summer begin! The Red Delicious is blooming as are the Yellow Columbines and White Canadian Lilacs – yup, summer has definitely made its appearance.
Once again, Department of Fish and Wildlife stocked the Lake on Monday. Joseph Rosado using a tube jig landed a 3-3/4 lb beaut for dinner. MiceTails made the list of what’s working at the Lake this week along with the norm of Red and Gold Thomas Buoyant, KastMasters, Salmon Eggs, NightCrawlers and PowerBait. If you’re in a boat, try drifting the rockpiles or over the natural shorelines between the two natural Lakes – if you’re in the pontoon – don’t get too close . The Inlets are doing fairly well – don’t forget we have 3 - DingleBerry Inlet – back right hand side or Little George Inlet – back left hand side and George Inlet about 200 yards up from Little George Inlet.
The Eagles are still flying high over the Lake swooping down every once in a while for dinner. We’re not sure if MaMa House Wren has laid her eggs yet, but they have quite a nest going in the weather station box by the front door.
