The weather continues to be over cast in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. The fish are biting in the morning and evening. An angler caught a bass on a purple robo worm. Catfish are being caught on garlic night crawlers. A young girl caught a catfish on a garlic night crawler while fishing from a boar and it got away. An angler caught a good sized turtle and released it. The bass and crappie are still being caught around the island in the reeds and under submerged trees or logs using night crawlers regular and garlic

Father’s Day was busy with families enjoying fishing and boating over the weekend. The weather was overcast until late morning and early noon. The fish are being in the morning and evening. A couple of catfish were caught on garlic night crawlers. A largemouth bass was caught on a flicker shad. A trout was caught on a fire tiger flicker shad off the point at Harvey’s Cove. The bass and crappie are being caught in the reeds and under submerges trees......

The weather was absolutely beautiful this weekend! Sweetwater Bay is hopping from the shore! Bass and crappie were caught using jigs and night crawlers. Catfish were caught in the bay off of a boat using the same bait. One angler took a chartreuse crappie jig and put a 1/4 of a garlic night crawler on the hook and caught over 10 crappie trout and bass off the shore. One June 9 trout were caught using lead core, 4 colors, trolling......
