Today’s Fish Count: 10 Boats and 252 Anglers.

1,470 Rockfish, 939 Whitefish, 107 Sheephead, 36 Lingcod, 18 Sculpin, 1 Sole, 6 Bonito, 9 Barracuda, 4 Yellowtail, 10 White Seabass, 1 Sand Bass, and 110 Calico Bass.

Fishing ended up good considering the captains had to deal with less than ideal conditions. Apparently, the current was all wrong and fish were reluctant to bite because of it. After many moves and strategy changes, the boats were able to put together some pretty good numbers. Its good to see White Seabass and Barracuda back in the counts, but today the Sheephead stole the show. Numbers were higher than usual for Sheephead, but the size was impressive with some fish up to 20 pounds!
