Capt. Rick Russell aboard the Chief checked in with 5 Bluefin Tuna, one that taped out at 310lbs, one at 295lbs, one at 289lbs, one at 140lbs and the final at 130lbs.. The Chief is on a 2½ day trip, so check back tomorrow morning for the final fish count.
The 1/2 day boat Point Loma departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $52 for adults, $42 for seniors or active duty military and $37 for juniors. A California fishing license is additional. The Point Loma is now offering two trips a day 7 days a week. Departure times are at 8:30 am and at 3:00 pm.
The Mission Belle has Full Day Coronado Islands trips scheduled every day. These trips will be fishing for Yellowtail, Bass, Rockfish and other local species. Ticket price is $155 and includes your Mexican fishing license. A VALID PASSPORT OR PASSPORT CARD ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP.

The T-Bird called in with LIMITS of Yellowtail, 3 Dorado and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for their 1 Day Overnight trip. The New Lo-An called in an early report with 4 Bluefin Tuna with one at 245 lbs and two more over 150 lbs due back Monday morning. The Mission Belle called in with 16 Yellowtail and 80 Rockfish for their Full Day trip. They have a WILL RUN trip departing tomorrow Monday the 5th...
