Hi Gang,

Checking in from our annual Catchy Tackle 5 day. We departed a few days ago with choppy weather  and very poor fish reports. With this, we decided to head down the beach to fish yellowtail for a couple of days. Upon arrival to our destination we were greated with some excellent yellowtail fishing. Most of our fish were 16 to 25 pounds and they were biting the flylined sardines and the surface iron the best. We had very good yellowtail fishing for two days and are now in position to fish for tuna tomorrow. The guys are having a blast and our weather has been perfect. The galley staff of chef Brian and Chasen has been on point all trip and last nights dinner of double bone in pork chop with apple mashed potatoes and a brown butter drizzle was exceptional. We have high hopes for tomorrow. Wish us luck, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
