Yellowfin Bluefin Bite

Hello everyone;

Well we started the Davis 10 day trip off with a decent bite of Yellowfin and Bluefin tuna.  Most of the Yellowfin were in the 25 to 50 pound range, and the Bluefin were in the 40 to 60 pound range, all except one fish.  We had one fish tape in at 285 pounds (Bluefin Tuna).

It was the last fish of the day, caught on a Shimano Flat Fall.  Lucky angler was Dave Knecht.  This was Dave’s largest Bluefin tuna, and yes he did get the RP shower.

The weather was a bit chilly most of the day, and once the sun went down, it was cold.  But it was pleasant most of the day.  We will give this another day or so before we take off to our next destination.

So until tomorrow, wish us luck.  Team R/p.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
