http://www.sportfishingreport.comI had the pleasure of taking my son-in-law for a 3/4 day trip aboard the STARDUST for a quick trip while he is on leave. He recently returned from Afganistan and hadn't been on the big pond for a few years. We left the dock at 7am with Capt Luke in the wheel house and Sal and Casey on the deck, it was a light load of 12 anglers. Capt Luke said we were going to head out to 12 mile reef and get some rockfish, after a 1 1/2 hour run we were dropping our lines in 300 feet of water. There was action right away and it didn't take long to fill our bags with some nice quality rockfish and head for home. My son-in-law really enjoyed the trip and was happy to be on the water again, he will be headed back to Georgia in a few days. But with some fond memories of a great day on the water and looking forward to his next visit and get back out there. Thanks to Capt Luke and the crew for taking us out with an ultra light load and putting us on some fish. If you would like any of the pictures you can email me at john@sportfishingreport.com and I'll get them out to you.
