Another great day on the pond. Fog didn’t even start lifting until 2pm. I took this pic about 1pm & I wasn’t as far from shore as it looks. A1 from 36 is in pretty good shape & mostly dry except for the grade down into the 15mph turn. 139 & A1 to spalding in good shape and mostly dry. Just be careful in the early morning. I suspect we’ll be seeing more foggy mornings in the south basin. 39-40F surface temps & fish are in close and shallow. Go get em!! Lots of action just about anywhere ya go.

We don’t always get the predicted snowfall during a storm event, however we do prepare for the worst and accept the least. Predictions range from 3-7” to 12-18” of snow. One thing will be certain is roads are probably going to be impacted even if we only see a few inches. I expect to see low temps drop below zero when single digits are predicted (at this point Thursday/Friday at 1F)and high temps around freezing won’t help much to thaw......

Fog lifted early. A beautiful day on the lake besides a little chilly this morning at 15F. Lake is still a bit stirred up from the last big wind with bottom visible to about 18” but the fish just keep biting. (Pearl/white was our best color today) 45-47F surface temps on the west side. Distant weather forecasts indicate a chance for a storm coming in late Monday night. Tuesday & Wednesday we are predicted to see a little snow. Low......
