Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the river, creatures were stirring, even Mr. Bull Trout.
The streamers were tied each night, sitting by the stove, in hopes that a Bull Trout would soon light our fire.
The anglers were nestled all snug in their beds, with visions of big fish dancing in their heads, While visions of bright bobbers danced in their heads;
With momma in nothing and I in my (Red Sox) cap, had just settled our brains for a long winters nap.
When out in the river there arose such a clatter, another Bull Trout was hooked by our fat friend Santa.
HO HO HO.
MERRY CHRISTMAS. Go Fish! It’s beautiful on the river and the fishing is pretty good for December with quite a few bull trout landed in the last week (mostly on white streamers) and some trout rising to BWO’s mid afternoon and eating nymphs throughout the late morning, afternoon up until about 4.
