The weather has been a little more favorable, but the fish have been a bit elusive. The lake has turned over, so the entire lake is well oxygenated and the temperature is sitting in the high 50’s. Bass have been unseasonably active. The trout and catfish have been slow. Bass are biting on drop shots and crank baits. Garlic worms and working for catfish and tout when you can find them.

The weather has been foggy in the morning burning off around 9:00 am. We’ve had partially cloudy days causing the trout to be elusive. When the trout hit its on Powerbait and nightcrawlers. Wind gust up to 45 MPH have limited boaters in small boats and Kayaks. The ones that have made it out have had luck fishing bass with Rapalas and Kastmasters. ......
