Today was amazing. The fishing was great, and so was the weather. Yeah, it certainly doesn't feel like February, but I'll take what I can get after the pounding last winter gave us. Hatch was solid, but the fishing pressure has made most fish a little wary to eat up top. I downsized to 6x and got considerably more grabs after the switch. That's the only bummer about the nice weather as it brings the masses to the rivers in the off season. Nymping was very productive when I first got there this morning, but once I started to see splashes on the surface around noon, I switched over to dries. Seeing most fish feeding in the foam lines where the water is moving around a walking pace.
