Winter Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca: Even with unstable weather conditions last week the trout bite remained steady for the bait dunkers. Success has been with night crawler/power bait combo. Trolling with Rapalas and Panther Martins providing some action. Use scent for the advantage due to stained water conditions.

Bait dunking with night crawler/power bait combo is producing stringers with some quality limits .Trolling with Rapalas and Panther Martins is also working well. Winter Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca: DFG stocked 3,000 lbs of trout from the Fillmore hatchery last week along with 1,300 lbs from Mojave to add to the inventory. These were a mixed size loads with some nice keepers. The bait bite is steady for trout. Some action trolling out of the wind.
