Terrific fishing today on a really nice sunny day but the ocean was getting a push from offshore which made the boating a little on the uncomfortable side once a while. Most of the time it was just fine but a large swell would run under the boat here and there. Thats the somewhat negative news but the good or even great news was the fishing. The boat out today for us had limits of both Lingcod and rockfish and there were some really “Big Boys” on the Lingcod side.

Spring must be just about here as the weather is better and better and the fishing is better and better. Today’s trip saw “Friday the 13th” no where in sight as we brought home a limit of rockfish and they were of terrific grade which made it even better. There were also 36 Lingcod on the boat as the picture on this page shows many of them. The ocean was nice and it sounds like a nice weather 2nd half......
