Had a good day out there this moring even though the rain came down pretty hard with some wind in the last hour of the morning trips. We had two more boats out there on second trips this afternoon. Lots of rockfish made it to the filet table this morning and one boat came back in with lots of Lingcod caught in the deeper water off the Lincoln City Reefs. Also crabbing for around the fifth day in a row was excellent.
We did have a Halibut boat out there today (Kadaho) and we will get you that report as soon as we can. 3pm: The Halibut boat came back in early in the afternoon with a limit of really nice Halibut.
More great trips going out in the morning and the forecast is for much better weather then this morning maybe even a little sunshine.

Pretty nice ocean this morning which stayed with us thru the better half of the morning so we were able to get good fishing and crabbing in before the winds came up early afternoon. Al of the boats had limits of rockfish and we had a decent Lingcod catch and the crabbing was once again really good. ......

First day the fleet has been out there after a few days of not-so-good weather and now we are seeing really nice weather in the forecast thru the upcoming weekend. Today one of the boats found a limit of rockfish and some nice lingcod out in the really deeper water where the normal hot bite on the inside reefs was falling short today on some of the other boats. The great news was all the boats that were crabbing today came home......
