The fishing has been picking up with the weather warming. The fish are just about done spawning near shore, but you may still find a few cruising the shoreline before heading out to spread out amongst the lake. Our guides are saying Callibaetis are starting to come off so be sure to have your dry flies at the ready. As we wait for the hatch to turn on during the afternoons, look for the spinner hatch in the mornings for gorging fish. When fish aren’t rising try throwing an indicator rig with a balanced leech, or chironomids. Wind drifting, and slow retrieves can get you into some nice fishing while dry fly is slow.  Also as we turn into summer weather the terrestrials will be showing up so having a few beetles, ants, crickets will benefit any angler.
