We started our day west of the fleet yesterday hoping for a few nicer grade models, of which we saw only landing 3 fish for our morning from 50 to 100 pounds. The action was more exciting yesterday on the small/mid grade fish. After multiple stops we ended our day with 33 bluefin tuna 5 of which were over 50 pounds and a few very nice sized yellowfin tuna pushing that 50 pound mark. Pictured is passenger David Garcia with this weeks standard size bluefin tuna. Come prepared to fish anywhere from 30 to 80 pound test for these occasionally mixed schools!
