We are open during this time and do ask to please social distant and wear a face mask. Thank you for your patience while we disinfect between customers. Please no more than 10 people in a group, due to the California Covid mandates. The annual fishing derby is cancelled until April 17 & 18, 2021.

As of July 17th, lake capacity was at 77.4%. Mornings are typically foggy and the fog lifts around 9am. Kayaking is best int he morning because the winds pick up in the afternoon. A nice size catfish was caught off the point at the entrance of Santa Cruz Bay on a kids fishing pole with a garlic nightcrawler. 20 Catfish were caught on the back side of Arrow Head Island with mackerel and anchovy. 8 Bass and Crappie were caught in the cove on the left side of Arrow Head Island, bait undisclosed.

We sell live bait, nightcrawlers, mealworms at the tackle shop. We do not take reservation for the boats, it is first come first serve.

Crappie were caught on a crappie spinner jig, flicker shad and mealworms. Catfish were caught on night crawlers. Largemouth and smallmouth bass were caught on inflated night crawlers......

The bait shop hours are 6am to 7pm 7 days a week.   Largemouth and smallmouth bass continue to be reported, they are being caught all over the lake. A 10 Pound Catfish was caught on garlic nightcrawler off of Tee Pee Island. A channel catfish was caught trolling on garlic nightcrawler. Crappie and bluegill......
