Lake Oroville Fish Report

Report Date:

Good news for boaters in the form of lots of water means that most of the launch ramps on Lake Oroville are now fully operable, reported Kevin Dossey at the Department of Water Resources. "The lake is up 105 feet since its low point on Dec. 20", said Dossey. "In fact, it's up 87 feet in just the last month. The current rough forecast has the lake reaching its' peak level of about 800-810 feet sometime around mid-June. It is still coming up over a foot per day."

Dossey continued, "The concrete ramps at the Spillway, Lime Saddle and Bidwell are all fully operable. Loafer Creek should be usable by mid-April, but we have no hopes of Enterprise opening at this point. We did get the new parking lot at Bidwell about 95-percent done before it was submerged under 40 feet of water."
