August 28, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

8/30/2020
Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (34) for their 1.5 day trip with 17 anglers.

Western Star called in 30 Reds and 15 Rockfish for their Full day local trip with 6 anglers.

The Islander called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (48) 15 to 35 pounds, and 52 Yellowtail 15 to 30 pounds for thier 2.5 day charter with 12 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 54 Yellowtail and 38 Bluefin for their 2.5 day trip with 16 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 40 Dorado, 8 Yellowtail, and 4 Yellowfin Tuna for 20 anglers on their overnight trip. 

The Dolphin called in with 60 Dorado and 3 Yellowfin Tuna on their full day offshore trip for 36 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Dorado (52), 6 Yellowtail, and 9 Yellowfin for 24 anglers on their Overnight chater.

The Tomahawk finished up their overnight trip with LIMITS of Dorado (48), 2 Yellowtail, 4 Skipjack, and 27 Yellowfin Tuna for 24 anglers. 

The Fortune called in with LIMITS of Dorado (26) and 31 Yellowfin Tuna and 6 Skipjack for 13 passengers.

The Condor returned this morning from a 1.5 day trip with LIMITS of Dorado (66), 105 Yellowtail, and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for 33 anglers.



The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS of Dorado (50), 9 Yellowtail, and 3 Yellowfin Tuna (25 lbs.) for 25 anglers on their Overnight Trip.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
