Another Long Day

Hello everyone;    Well with excellent weather and lots of fish around, we thought today would be the day.  But the Bluefin did what Bluefin do.  They showed, but they didn’t go.  We had another long day fishing for Bluefin tuna, and the way our morning started out we thought things were on the up swing.  After a quick early bite of 12 Bluefin, things went south for the rest of the day.  We saw schools of Bluefin tuna, they just didn’t want to bite.

The morning Bluefin were in the 40 to 50 pound range, but the first call for dinner Bluefin were in the 130 to 190 range.  We went hooked 5 fish, and lost 3.  The loses were heartbreaking, with one fish at color, something spooked the fish, and it went right into the props.

John Collins was on a fish for about 30 minutes, only to have his hook pull.  John said if it weren’t for bad luck, I’d hand no luck at all.   We departed the ground around 20:00 hours, and we are headed for points south.  So  until tomorrow, wish us luck

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
