November 12, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

The Tomahawk called in with 12 Bluefin Tuna (up to 240#) and fish hanging for 27 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Condor called in with 6 Bluefin Tuna (1 @ 179# & 1 @ 187#) for 22 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Pacific Queen called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna (40# &  3@150#) on their 1.5 day charter.

The Liberty caught 105 Yellowtail, 29 Yellowfin Tuna, 7 Skipjack Tuna, and 3 Dorado for 21 anglers on their full day trip.

The Outrider added 2 Bluefin Tuna (154# and 206) to their count on day 2 of their 2.5 day.

The Liberty caught 184 Yellowtail, 2 Dorado, 1 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Skipjack Tuna for 39 anglers on their full day trip.

The Outrider called in with 4 Bluefin Tuna at 160# on the boat to start their 2.5 day trip with 9 anglers.

The Pacific Queen returned this AM with 44 Bluefin Tuna (9 @ 140-337# ) for their 2.5 day trip with 24 Anglers. They reported great weather.

The Tomahawk returned this AM with 8 Bluefin Tuna 6 at(160 to 190#) and 2 over 200lbs. for thier 1.5 day trip with 16 anglers.

The Condor returned this AM with LIMITS of Bluefin (30) up to 40 pounds for their 1.5 day trip for 15 anglers.


Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
