Topwater Action For Striped Bass in The Mornings Has Been Good

Anglers are still seeing topwater action for striped bass in the mornings. Other anglers are reporting larger striper catches when jigging around 100 feet. Black bass action is hit and miss, with anglers having the most luck at Callville Bay and throughout Government Wash. The fish are taking crankbaits in shad and crawdad patterns, as well as a variety of floating baits.
