Hello everyone;

Say good-buy to 2020 and say hello to 2021.    We departed Fisherman’s Landing at 15:00 hours and we are headed south.  Roy made the decision to make a quick stop at the Bluefin grounds, and boy did it pay of for some Jumbo grade Bluefin.  We only caught a few, but they were in the 175 to 250 range.  Largest Bluefin was caught on the kite.

Lucky anglers today were Wayne Tanimine, with a 267 pound Bluefin, Gary  AhSing with a 247 pound Bluefin tuna, Melvin Tanaka with a 180 pound Bluefin Tuna, Lloyd Henry with a 247 pound Bluefin tuna, and the only bait fish landed was caught by Richard Berg, a nice 175 pound Bluefin tuna.  Yes we did have a few heartbreaks,  Bob Ito was on a fish for about 15 minutes, and the hook pulled.  Kambiz Moradi, hooked two nice fish, both fish lost because of chewed through the mono.

We departed the area around 16:00 hours, and our next stop will be a bank about 458 miles from San Diego.  The weather is just beautiful, with flat seas, 5 to 8 knots of breeze, and sunny.

So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you up dated on our daily events.  Team R/p (Roy, Dharyl, Ryan, Chris, Trevan, Robert, Fernando, Dave)
